What is a Gathering?
At Harvest Church, we believe in cultivating an environment where people can know God, love others, find freedom, and live sent. That’s what makes our Gatherings so special—they’re more than a service; they’re a time to connect, grow, and build authentic relationships.
Here’s what you can expect:
Connection Time: Before opening the Bible, we spend time getting to know each other. We’ll play games, eat together, and start with worship and prayer to set the tone.
Interactive Study: Our Bible studies aren’t lectures; they’re conversations. We use resources and group discussions to explore scripture and what it means for your life.
For the Whole Family: Kids have their own space to play while adults connect and grow together.

When and Where are Gatherings?
We meet every Thursday at 6:00 PM at 19135 Joan Harris Rd, Mount Vernon, AL. Gatherings are hosted in a home because we believe in creating a space where people can feel like family.
It’s casual, laid-back, and family-friendly. While the adults connect in study and worship, there’s a room where kids can play and have fun. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home as we cultivate relationships and grow together in love and purpose.
How Do I Meet People?
At Harvest Church, we’re all about authentic relationships. Whether you’re new or have been with us for years, there are plenty of ways to connect:
Small Groups: These weekly gatherings are the heartbeat of our community. It’s where you’ll get to know others, share life, and grow in your faith together.
Leadership Team: Interested in helping others find freedom and purpose? Talk to one of our pastors about joining our Leadership Team.
Events and Serving: Whether it’s volunteering or attending one of our events, showing up is the quickest way to get connected.
